Key word “unapologetic” As I grow older, I am truly appreciating the power and meaning of freedom.

To me, “freedom” means choice. The choice to do what I want, when I want it, how I want it without worrying about what other people think or what they would say because life is too short for that BS.

I hope this reminds you to do “you” because all those people you’re worried about looking at you a certain type of way? Well, they really don’t even deserve to look at you at all.

Since today is my birthday, it felt like the right moment to reintroduce myself. 🥰🎂

Hi, I’m Ummi. I got married at 19, had two children by 22, and by 26 I was navigating a toxic, high-conflict divorce — one that included two abductions of my children and 18 months without access to them, along with hundreds of thousands of dollars spent fighting for custody. There were moments I didn’t think I’d recover. But I made a decision: I wasn’t just going to survive this — I was going to thrive. Divorce wasn’t the end of my story. It was the beginning of a new one.

I remarried at 27, welcomed my third child at 31, and have spent the years since building a life rooted in intention — prioritizing my physical and mental health, keeping God at the center of my daily life, pursuing financial freedom, and becoming the woman I was always meant to be. Today, my purpose is helping other women do the same.

I believe every woman should see divorce not as a curse, but as an opportunity — a doorway to the life she was meant to build.

I love sharing what I’m learning along the way. To me, a thriving life rests on five pillars: Health, Faith, Relationships, Finances, and Purpose.

This page is where I’ll be bringing you more of all five. I’m learning as I go, and I’d love for you to walk this journey with me — toward “becoming” the woman every woman deserves to be.
